Mr. Rodney Jay "Jethro" Wilson passed away January 31, 2010 at his home. He was born January 25, 1957 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Felix Ezell and Marietta "Miki" Lewis. Rodney attended Kalamazoo Public Schools and graduated from Loy Norrix High School. He was employed with Sears and Roebuck for over 20 years and also worked at Fort James. Rodney enjoyed listening to music. His favorites were R&B, slow songs and especially music from the 60's and 70's. He enjoyed watching sports such as football, baseball and basketball. He loved to draw and was a great artist. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Matt Lewis Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: 4 sisters, Carmen Rannae Wilson of Peoria, IL, Princess (Rodney) Jackson, Phyllis Ezell and Ophelia Johnson all of Kalamazoo; 3 brothers, Pastor Timothy (Susie) Ezell; Stephen Ezell and Pete McDaniel, all of Kalamazoo, MI; 5 nieces, Tyesha Lewis and Nakia Lewis, of Kalamazoo, MI; Britney Lewis of Grand Rapids, MI; Christina Ezell and Jamela Bolden, also of Kalamazoo; 3 nephews, Marcus King of Peoria, IL; Tayshon Ezell and William Arnaz Jackson, all of Kalamazoo. Also surviving, Aunt Ruth Brownlee of Chicago, IL; special Sandra Ndlovu of Kalamazoo and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
