Mr. Hill was born December 5, 1935 in Arlington, TN the son of Fred Johnson Sr. and Bertha Hill. Fred was employed with Checker Motors for many years, and retired in 1992. Fred was known for his sense of humour. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Fred was also very fond of wearing his caps. He loved eating biscuits. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Fred Johnson Sr. and his mother, Bertha Hill. He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 sisters, Ruby Lee Whitmore of Kalamazoo, MI and Menola (Bubba) Holland of Covington, TN; one special aunt, Helen Harwell of Stanton, TN; two special cousins: Odessa and James Nelson of Kalamazoo, MI; a special friend, Tammy Jackson of Kalamazoo, MI and ex-wife, Flo Hill of Kalamazoo, MI. Fred also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
