Mike was born August 19, 1952 in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Leroy and Shirley (Seivert) Wagner. Mike loved hunting and fishing and had a passion for cooking. Mike, his wife, Karen and their son, Shawn were the owners and operators of D & W Tree Service in Plainwell. He was a 1970 graduate of Gull Lake High School and married his wife Karen (Bleeker) in 1974. Surviving are his wife, Karen; their children, John (Erin) Wagner of Parchment; Tanya (Greg) Thorn of Allegan; and Shawn Wagner of Richland; grandchildren, Michael Cottingham, Krystal Cottingham, Austin Wagner, Kayla and Noelle Watson; father, Leroy Wagner of Plainwell; two sisters, Diana (Doug) Collard of Plainwell and Pamela (Jerry) VanSpyker of Grand Rapids; a brother, Phillip (Lola) Wagner of Richland; mother-in-law, Virginia Bleeker of Parchment; two brothers-in-law, Gary (Robin) of Gobles and Billy (Kim) Bleeker of Plainwell; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His mother, Shirley; sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Carl Bierema, preceded him in death. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in care of John Wagner.
